Located in Glastonbury, Connecticut and Pinewood,
South Carolina Eugene Casale with over 40 years
experience has been a forerunner in the Gun Dog
Sport and Field Trials. His accomplishments have
been on a National level, touching every aspect of
field trials and has made the Field Trial Hall of
Fame. He has even been featured in Gun Dog Magazine,
Pointing Journal and the American Field.
Gene Casale is unsurpassed, his Hall of Fame
National Champion pointer, Guard Rail, has broken
all producing records for all times. The Guard Rail
era has produced records that are kept by the
"hundreds" of winners produced and the "dozens" of
championships won by his offspring.
Several other major circuit Casale producers are RU
CH Rail Dancer, CH Railway Willie, CH Eugene L's
Dan, CH Railway Joseph, CH Lookout Mickey, Ch
Railway Joe, and CH Railway Billy.
Railway bitches, such as Railway Ginny and CH
Railway Gabby, have also produced multiple
champions.
Eugene Casale has amassed a winning record that
exceeds 800 winners and over 4,000 wins over the
past 35 years, and thousands of satisfied hunters.
These wins have been consistent over this period in
all areas of the United States and Canada in Open
and Amateur competition.
Championship titles include the Region 1 All-Age,
the Middle Atlantic, the Ohio-Pennsylvania, the
National Amateur Shooting Dog, and the list goes on.
Gene Casale has served as a club official for the
Central Connecticut Bird Dog Club in being president
for over twenty years. He has also been an official
of the Northeastern Championship for a similar
period. His work in providing grounds and hundreds
of hours of work each year at the Glastonbury
Meadows venue are a standard of excellence. Annually
he chairs numerous field trials and contributes with
hundreds of entries. As a judge, Eugene Casale has
presided over numerous major championships in the
United States and Japan and has judged several stakes in the
New England club trials.
